Hypnotized Cora (Cora X Reader)

You brought the black crystal with you to the meeting.

At the meeting, Esmeralda was discussing on new battle methods, Sparky was annoying Rain and Cora, and Lila and Blaze trying to listen. Shortly after the meeting was over, you happened to notice Cora resting her head in her hands. At first you thought she was just tired, but you looked closer at her and she appeared to have green skin, as if she were a ghost. You then remembered that this was normal for her to change "form" every time she was angry, scared or sad. You then had the courage to speak to her.

"Hey Cora? Are you alright?" you asked in a comforting voice. Cora removed her head away from her palms and gave you a fake smile, as if she was trying to hide her negative emotion from you. You then noticed what looked like a basket of something near her. You then realized that the "something" was really blueberry muffins, but they were burnt and had a very dark green aura surrounding it. You then heard a noise coming from the bathroom, and it was not pleasant to say the least. Guess who came out of it?

"Sparky?" you said in shock and confusion. Sparky just smiled sheepishly and left the meeting room quickly. You then heard what sounded like soft crying coming from Cora.

*Time-skip. In the kitchen*

"Oh, it's no use, *Your Name*. I'll never be able to cook things that don't have apples in it." Cora said in defeat. You tried your best to comfort her, but you had to admit her cooking was....not great.

"Oh c'mon Cora. It's okay. Sparky did insist on eating the whole thing." you said, but this just made Cora feel even worse. She thought that her and Sparky's friendship was destroyed or at least heavily damaged. Then an idea popped into your head as you grabbed the black crystal out of your pocket.

"I think I know a way to fix your problem. You don't have to do anything, but you just have to look at this." you said as you grabbed the black crystal by it's rope. Cora looked at the crystal. She was afraid something bad will happen like the last time she was hypnotized, but then she thought about Sparky.

"Well, okay, but I don't know if this will wor..." She was interrupted as you started to swing the crystal back and forth at eye level.

"Just look at the crystal, Cora." you said quietly. She did what you told her as she removed some tears away from her face.

"Yes, just keep watching the crystal swing back and forth. As you do, your starting to relax." you said. Cora felt her arms, legs, neck, and head starting to relax. Her eyes changed from cerulean to black and a dark shade of green, as if it were a spiral.

"Your starting to get sleepy." you said in a soothing voice. Cora's eyelids started to droop, not only that but her skin changed back to it's normal form.

"Your getting really sleeeeepy." you said. At this point, Cora couldn't keep her head up for long and she was slowly dropping her hands and head on the table you two were at. Once her head and hands were on the table, she was about to fall asleep, but she managed to look at you behind the crystal.

"*Y......Your.....Your Name*." She stuttered before she fell asleep. You put the crystal down on the table so you could rest your arm. You then noticed that Cora looked more....fragile when she was sleeping. You always knew that Cora was the strongest when it came to physical strength, but seeing her asleep was like a weird breath of fresh air. You then grabbed the crystal again.

"Cora. Cora, could you wake up?" you whispered into her ear. Cora groaned and sat back up, still in a trance. You then started to swing the crystal again.

"Now, when I count to five, you will be better at cooking things that don't have apple in them." You said.

"One"

"Two"

"Three"

"Four"

"Five" You snapped your fingers. Cora woke up, rubbing her head.

"Wait..what happened?" Cora asked, trying to remember what happened during the past four and a half minutes. You were about to say something, but Cora was already grabbing ingredients for dinner.

*Time-skip. Dinner.*

You were eating dinner with your Elemental friend and the others. The odd thing is that Rain was supposed to cook dinner that night, but Cora made it instead. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw Sparky eating her food.

"Wow, this is AMAZING!" Sparky said between mouthfuls of food. The other Elements were shocked to even hear this.

"Wait, it's good?"

"Is this food even edible?"

"I can't believe I'm saying this, but it's delicious."

"Who taught Cora how to cook?"

While the Elements were talking to each other, you simply ate your food in silence, and patted the black crystal that was in your pocket.
